Hey punks! My name is Cecilia Gillen and I’m the sewist behind Love Your.

My grandma taught me how to sew when I was 10 years old and I loved making doll clothes and quilts. I was also quite the little entrepreneur with multiple businesses, including one where I peddled upcycled jewelry on the playground. Yeah, that’s right, I was upcycling before it was cool.

It wasn’t until I got involved with the sustainable fashion community in Omaha as an adult that I started to sew again. Inspired and supported by the community, I dreamt up what my own brand might look like.

Love Your was born to capture the feeling of awe and excitement when you see a piece in the wild so special that you just have to stop and gab about it.

I believe when we intentionally choose pieces that resonate with us, they allow us to be seen more deeply, even just passing someone on the street. These small moments of connection and empowerment are what make fashion so fun for me.

My goal is to create pieces that spark kinship, give new life to old materials, and make people say “love your!”
